Customers are vehicle fleets, construction and utility companies whose equipment is scattered across a territory. A cab camera records unsafe driving, sensors show fuel use and idle time, and the system ties that to routes. The saving is measurable: fewer accidents mean cheaper insurance, less idling means more trips.
It is sold as a per-device subscription, so revenue is predictable and grows with the customer's fleet. These industries are conservative and digitise slowly — hence a long runway. Risks: competition from telematics makers and from systems built in by vehicle manufacturers, plus customers' sensitivity to a freight downturn. The company pays no dividend.
