Question 1

What is Nexus (NEX)?

Accepted Answer

Nexus works on verifiable computation: a program runs off-chain and only a short proof that the result was produced honestly goes back to the network. That opens the door to workloads far too expensive to execute inside a smart contract, from data processing to heavy numerical work.

Question 2

How many NEX will there ever be?

Accepted Answer

The maximum supply is capped at 100.0 T NEX.

Question 3

What sector does Nexus belong to?

Accepted Answer

Nexus is grouped under: Smart Contract Platform, Zero Knowledge (ZK), Binance Alpha Spotlight.

Question 4

How far back does the Nexus price history go?

Accepted Answer

Our database holds 42 days of daily price history for NEX.

Question 5

What is Nexus ranked by market capitalisation?

Accepted Answer

Nexus is ranked #499 by market capitalisation, at 47.73M $. Market capitalisation is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with both — a coin can climb the ranking without its price rising, simply by issuing more.

Question 6

How much of the NEX supply is already issued?

Accepted Answer

60.0 T NEX are in circulation, which is 60.0 % of the declared maximum. The remainder enters the market on the schedule written into the protocol, and until it does, the circulating figure is what market capitalisation is computed from — not the cap.

Question 7

Is Nexus a coin or a token?

Accepted Answer

Nexus is a token issued on the Ethereum network rather than a coin of its own blockchain. Practically that means transfers are paid for in the network's own currency, and the token's fate is tied to that network as well as to its own project.
