MetaDAO META

MetaDAO makes decisions through markets: instead of ordinary voting, participants trade conditional versions of the token and a proposal passes if the market prices it as good for the organisation. The model is known as futarchy. The project is a working test of whether prices can govern an organisation instead of votes.

Our database holds 38 days of daily price history for META.

MetaDAO is ranked #244 by market capitalisation, at 132.93M $. Market capitalisation is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with both — a coin can climb the ranking without its price rising, simply by issuing more.

MetaDAO is a token issued on the Solana network rather than a coin of its own blockchain. Practically that means transfers are paid for in the network's own currency, and the token's fate is tied to that network as well as to its own project.
