Rank 11 by market cap
A perpetual futures exchange that built its own blockchain rather than renting someone else's. The order book, matching and position accounting happen inside the protocol instead of on an operator's server: every order and every liquidation is a network operation visible to all participants, and therefore verifiable without trusting the venue.
The maximum supply is capped at 1.00 B HYPE.
Hyperliquid is grouped under: Smart Contract Platform, Proof of Stake (PoS), Exchange-based Tokens, Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Governance, Decentralized Exchange (DEX), Perpetuals, Derivatives.
We track 7 trading pairs for HYPE; the full list with venues is on the coin's "Exchanges" tab.

Hyperliquid is ranked #11 by market capitalisation, at 18.70B $. Market capitalisation is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with both — a coin can climb the ranking without its price rising, simply by issuing more.
222.4 M HYPE are in circulation, which is 22.2 % of the declared maximum. The remainder enters the market on the schedule written into the protocol, and until it does, the circulating figure is what market capitalisation is computed from — not the cap.
Over the last twelve months the price of HYPE rose by 80.3 %. That is the change of the quote itself and says nothing about what comes next: crypto drawdowns of tens of percent within a year are ordinary, not exceptional.
Hyperliquid is the native coin of its own blockchain: transaction fees in that network are paid in it, and its issuance is set by the protocol rather than by a contract on someone else's chain.

Consensus runs on proof of stake, and alongside the trading core sits an EVM-compatible environment that lets third-party applications reach the same book. Liquidity is supplied by a communal vault into which anyone can deposit, sharing the market maker's profit and loss with the protocol. The HYPE token is the network's settlement unit and its governance instrument, and part of the fees collected is directed into buying it back on the market.
One distinguishing trait is distribution: a substantial share of supply went to users of the platform rather than being placed with investors in earlier private rounds.
The wager is that a derivatives market can run fully on chain: normally the book and the risk engine stay with a centralised operator and only the outcomes reach a blockchain.

Turnover is what the venue itself reports; we do not verify it, so the order in the table is not a reliability ranking.

We compute market cap from circulating supply, so its date matters as much as the price.
