Axie Infinity AXS

174.8 M AXS are in circulation, which is 64.7 % of the declared maximum. The remainder enters the market on the schedule written into the protocol, and until it does, the circulating figure is what market capitalisation is computed from — not the cap.

Over the last twelve months the price of AXS fell by 17.7 %. That is the change of the quote itself and says nothing about what comes next: crypto drawdowns of tens of percent within a year are ordinary, not exceptional.

Axie Infinity is a token issued on the Ethereum network rather than a coin of its own blockchain. Practically that means transfers are paid for in the network's own currency, and the token's fate is tied to that network as well as to its own project.
