A7A5 A7A5

A peg to the Russian rouble is a rarity in a market where settlement is almost entirely dollar-denominated. A7A5 is issued out of Kyrgyzstan, and its turnover is concentrated in transfers between venues rather than in open decentralised-finance protocols. Publicly verifiable information about the backing is limited, and this entry does not attempt to describe it. Demand for a rouble unit arises where conventional currency channels are unavailable, which is what draws attention to such designs.
