Shares Mechel (MTLR)

44.0 % of the issue is in free float. The rest belongs to controlling shareholders and the state and does not trade on the exchange — that share drives the security's liquidity and its weight in indices.

Over the last twelve months the price stayed between 29.50 ₽ and 80.00 ₽. The range shows how widely the security moved, but on its own it says nothing about whether it is expensive or cheap today: a growing company keeps setting new yearly highs.

The price fell 35.7 % over twelve months. That is the change in the quote alone, without dividends: a holder's total return differs by the amount of any payouts.

Average daily turnover over the past month is 453,075,285.53 ₽. The higher it is, the calmer it is to enter and exit with a large amount: on a thinly traded security the order moves the price by itself, and the gap between the buying and the selling price eats part of the result.

Revenue for 2025 was 287,000,000,000.00 ₽, which is 25.9 % less than a year earlier, in 2024. The comparison stays within one reporting standard: IFRS and RAS compute revenue by different rules and are never averaged.

The security trades on level 1 of the Moscow Exchange quotation list. The level reflects how strictly the issue meets requirements on disclosure, size and the issuer's track record.

The issue is available to any investor: qualified status is not required and no broker's test needs to be taken.

The issuer is Mechel. It is the issuer that carries the obligations on the security, so its financial condition is what determines the risk of the investment.

Besides this security, Mechel has one issue more outstanding. Issues from one issuer differ in term, coupon rate and yield, while the credit risk they carry is the same.
