IRGC reports strike on LNG tanker for unauthorised passage through the Strait of Hormuz
Forces of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) struck the tanker NV Sunchine, which was carrying liquefied natural gas, for attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz illegally, in the Iranian side's view. "The large LNG tanker NV Sunshine, owned by the company Natwealth, which was attempting to pass along an illegal route in the southern part of the Strait of Hormuz, was struck," says a statement published on the IRGC's Telegram channel.
